OFA is a large national organisation, and we have had almost 200 young LGBTIQ people volunteer with us (inclusive of current volunteers). We would like to recognise OFA volunteers who have made significant contributions outside of OFA, but most importantly ensure the awards process is fair and transparent. Therefore only past volunteers for Out for Australia (i.e. volunteers who have finished their involvement with OFA as at 1 June 2019) are eligible to be nominated, but only non-OFA experience and achievements can be considered for the award (i.e. OFA volunteering cannot be taken into consideration).
